I was born in London in 1971, I haven’t lived in the UK since 2010.

I am a mother of two, trilingual children and now we live in The Alpujarras, Spain (Lanjarón)

I have degrees in Midwifery, Music and Visual Art (first class) and I have trained as a voice coach.

Amongst other things, I’ve worked as a clown in hospitals, an independent midwife, a music teacher at the only Buddhist primary school in the UK. a jet set supernanny for billionaires and a professional portrait photographer. I have led hundreds of workshops and classes in art, writing, singing and all things to do with birth.

When it comes to my own life path, I’ve made radical choices; home-birthing, free-birthing, home-schooling, unschooling, living in different countries, living in nature, off-grid.

I have often made life changing decisions (often at lightening speed) by listening to my intuition and knowing when it’s time to hold on, when it’s time to jump.

For over 25 years, I worked with women and girls from first bleed to post menopause combining my skills in voice and breath work, photography and creative autobiographical writing with my knowledge of women’s sexual and reproductive health and women’s rites of passage.

I love to work with groups of people who are ready to engage deeply and creatively.

My personal journey over recent years has involved some classic mid-life soul searching as I passed through perimenopause: the death of my mother, several people close to me suffering with mental health problems, burn out and the separation from my children's father.

I came face to face with myself as I struggled during those merciless years, and began truly healing from my co-dependent nature and people pleasing patterns.

The most important component of my healing has been the practice of slowing down, sifting through and simplifying my daily life, identifying what gives me pleasure and moving towards that.

This daily practice of earthy eroticism has opened my body and mind to a state of grounded joy, optimism and abundance,

What else?

I am happiest off screens and in water or barefoot on the earth, singing round a fire, feeling connected with my children and creating beautiful things.

I still require a coffee to start my day, I have slight obsession with pomegranates, a long term trust in astrology and a commitment to living a courageous, meaningful life.

I am currently working on several projects: Rubí The Pomegranate Museum, I am currently looking for someone to caretake my land with an aim to moving there in a few years and creating a community garden and sanctuary from digital tech and then there’s my personal and professional creative writing and photography work and family life.

Monday serves to support and give structure to my busy creative life.

If you feel inspired by any of my projects and want to collaborate, donate or share ideas, please send me an email.
