“I’m so so chuffed! It’s going to be impossible to pick which ones to use for things! 😅

Thank you so much for your time, skill and artistry! I’m normally not a massive fan of photos of myself and also struggle relaxing in front of a camera, but I really enjoyed this morning and am blown away by what you’ve taken.

Thank you!!!

I asked Lizzie to create a photo story that would reflect this moment in our lives. I was already drawn to her work, especially her use of colour and her sensitivity, and the result is truly beautiful.

She captured the naturalness and spontaneity of our everyday intimacy with such care and mastery. Her sensitivity is present in every photograph, in each gesture, the light, the colours, and the atmosphere.

She has a gift for finding the beauty in every moment.

Opening our home and sharing our day-to-day life felt easy and comfortable throughout. Without hesitation, we would work with her again and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Thank you, Lizzie, from the heart. x”

“You know what was truly special? To be seen by the sensitive, loving, wise and compassionate eyes of a woman, reflected by them, and see this on every picture you take, on every woman. There is so much that you take out from our beings”

“I've struggled with being photographed, old childhood trauma stories make me self conscious when a camera is pointed at me, but Lizzie, knowing this, invited a conversation and a chance to play.

Here was a moment to rewrite the script and be the author of my own story. I felt such joy and laughed out loud as she told me that the soft soil under my bare feet was ancient horse shit.

I played with ways of using the chair and when Lizzie gently asked if I was wanting any naked chest shots of my dragon tattooed mastectomy scar, I beamed and nodded racing off to find a recent Calla lily to use as a prop.

It was a magical experience. Lizzie is an exceptional space holder. She gently teased out the creative tendrils from the trauma of my cancer journey and I never knew how wonderfully joyful it could be to be seen in that way, until that moment.

This is precious work. I can't thank her enough and would recommend anyone seeking to be witnessed and seen beyond their stories to go book a session.

Such pure healing glory. 💜

I really appreciate your guidance and commitment to the session delivering on the two things we wanted - great photos and a great experience for the women there - fantastic! I can't wait to see the photos that were produced and we defo want you to be the one who gives each person on the Retreat in November a portait!”

Workshops

“A day experimenting with Cyanotype printing  using negatives of my drawings to...find a new story. This technique may have changed my art path completely, for ever. In love with it. Thank you Lizzie Woolfenden”

“Lizzie’s course has been a deeply enriching experience—one that felt as nourishing emotionally as it was expansive. What stood out most for me was the way Lizzie held space: with warmth, humour, and genuine presence. She created a container that felt safe enough to bring vulnerability into the space, which in turn allowed for real transformation to take place.

Her ability to guide gently but with clarity made it easy to trust the process, even in moments of challenge or discomfort. I found myself reflecting more honestly and writing more freely.

I also appreciated the choice to delve as deep as I felt able. Lizzie created an environment where I could engage with the material at my own pace, without any pressure, allowing for a level of self-compassion and respect in my own process. That freedom made the journey all the more impactful.

I was initially uncertain about doing a course like this online, I was worried that it might feel distant or impersonal. But I was surprised by how connected and safe it felt. Lizzie managed to create a strong sense of presence, even through a screen, and ensured that everyone remained anonymous.

One of the most heartfelt and humbling aspects was hearing the anonymous reflections from other participants. Those shared snippets—raw, wise, sometimes painful, often beautiful—helped me feel part of something much larger. There was such insight in the collective experience, and Lizzie wove it all together with compassion and care.

Personally, I’ve uncovered insights I didn’t know I was ready for—about who I am, what I carry, and what I’m capable of releasing. Lizzie’s intuitive, kind, and grounded teaching has been life-enhancing in ways I’m still unfolding”

“I just want to share that I think the work is very powerful, that it took me to deeper layers than I have gone before and I have done a huge amount of processing over the years.

I guess the course goes deeper than I expected and that just reminds me not to have expectations and also to remember who I am dealing with.  Why would I not expect you to help us push the boat way out to sea? 😂😘🤗 ´”

Creative Support

The course was intuitive and a huge blessing; meeting the exact great need of our time- the time of minds and lives overcome by degrees of device addiction. It helped me to face it, to become aware of the discomfort and to build motivation to overcome through bite size and fun daily goals and activities.

As usual Lizzie is in tune with where we are in these times and swoops in to reach out with brilliant ideas to help us to find and be our best selves.

“My first Monday with Elizabeth I slowed down so much in my body I feel I’ve actually landed there, in a gentle pool of ‘let’s see what’s needed next’ vs over planning every second of my existence. It feels there’s more pro activity and creativity flowing than I’ve felt in a long while but infused with calm.
