How I Work:

I like to photograph people who are ready to meet themselves.

Before I carried a camera, I worked as a midwife.

Today, I still midwife—only now I witness and support the birth of images, identities, and new chapters.

In every session, I hold space.

Tears are welcome. Play is welcome, Shyness is welcome, Laughter is welcome. Nudity is welcome. Silence is welcome.

Some people come to celebrate a body they love—or are learning to love. To honour family or friendship. To create a gift for someone close.

Others come to mark a transition: pregnancy, surgery, scars, ageing, death,marriage or separation, a decision, a change in work or direction.

I act as witness and mirror while they bring something true into the light.

Portraits can heal and they can also help you be seen in the world.

Many of my clients use the images their social media, websites, books, press, and publicity.

Together we create photographs that are authentic and eye‑catching without artifice, so your professional presence reflects who you truly are.

Privacy is sacred. Much of my work remains private by client choice, and I honour that.

Announcing a change

My portrait work is evolving. From 2027 I will take on significantly fewer clients, we will work together over several sessions, talking, writing and then moving to working in the studio and nature/locations of your choice.

Each collaboration will be a much slower, intentional process—a rite of passage, where I witness your story as something ends, something shifts, and something new takes its first breath.

These sessions are for those ready to meet themselves as they consciously make a change in their life. The images make the change visible. Together, we will create images that reflect this creating a record of a transformation that is authentic, strengthening and meaningful.
